Shrinking of the New Intel Atom
Intel’s new developing processor “ATOM” it’s inline with this products for netbooks and entry-level desktop PCs. For this new processor Intel unveiled the N450 processor. For PCs, Intel have D410 and D510, with this they have a latest lineup of dual-core processor. New processor also has a lower-power Nm10 Express chipset.
Intel claims the integration of memory controllers and graphics into the CPU in the new line of Atom processors is an industry first on x86 chips. This means the processors now consist of a CPU and a chipset. They don’t need an input/output controller hub like older-generation chips did.
N450 low consumption of power. The total of footprint for the netbook platform is about 60%, according to Intel Company. This new processor is for entry level desktop PCs, reduction about 70%.
